<B>3D Orbit-Realtime 3D Rotation </B>

<P> With 3D Orbit you can easily view your drawing from any angle and rotate your view dynamically. You can revolve your view to see all faces of an island or just get a better view of a custom object.

<BR>

<I>NOTE: This command takes advantage of the latest Pentium III and video card technology, so if you have an older machine, you may wish to continue to use the dynamic rotation command instead.</I></P>

<b> To Use 3D Orbit:</B><br>

<UL>

<LI> Select the objects you want to view, or select nothing to view the entire drawing.</B>)

<LI>Pick <b> View | 3D Orbit</b> or type <b>3DO</b>(For best results start from Plan View)

<LI>Look for the green 3D Orbit arcball icon.

<LI> Left Click and drag the cursor within the arcball to change the horizontal, vertical and diagonal view rotation.<br>

<li> Left Click and drag the cursor outside the arcball to change the view rotation around an axis perpendicular to your screen <br>

Look for <img src="./techpics/orbit2.gif"><br>

<LI>Left Click and drag the cursor within one of the small circles on the left or right within the arcball to change the view rotation around a vertical axis parallel to your screen<br>

 <li> Left Click and drag the cursor within one of the small circles on the top or bottom within the arcball to change the view rotation around a horizontal axis parallel to your screen<br>

<LI>At the <B>Block Name</B> command line prompt, Select <B>Enter</B>.

<LI>Select an <B>insertion point</B>. Usually this is the lower left corner

<LI>Type W for Window selection and draw a window around the symbol to select it.

<LI>To bring this into another drawing, pick on <B>Manager | Library Manager | User Symbol | Insert Block</B>

<LI>Pick on <B>File</B> and retrieve your symbol. This will bring the symbol into your new drawing.

<LI>Pick the <B>insertion point</B>.

<LI>Choose <B>Enter</B> several times to accept the defaults.
